All media/sports reporters are cordially invited to attend an information session at the Gathering Place which is located on the first floor of The Downtown School at 601 N. Cherry St in Winston-Salem at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 19, 2024. The Winston-Salem Sportsmen Club, Inc. will be announcing the nominees who will be inducted into the 39th Annual Winston-Salem/Forsyth County High School Sports Hall of Fame. The class of 2024 includes six players, one athletic director and one administrator.

Inductees will be available for interviews immediately following the Information Session.

WINSTON-SALEM FORSYTH COUNTY SPORTS HALL OF FAME

The Winston-Salem Sportsmen Club is proud to announce that six of the finest athletes,

three coaches, one athletic director, and two contributors have been approved for induction into the

Winston-Salem Forsyth County High School Sports Hall of Fame.

The six Players are:

  • Lloyd “Leslie” Booker (Parkland)

  • Lee Robert Brush (West Forsyth)

  • Michelle Clayton (East Forsyth)

  • Gregory Holt (West Forsyth)

  • Allison Lippard Morris (Reynolds)

The Winston-Salem Sportsmen Club is proud to announce that five of the finest athletes, one athletic director, and one administrator has been inducted into the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County High School Sports Hall of Fame.

The induction ceremony was held on Friday, May 10th, 2024 at 7:00pm at the Benton Convention Center. Tricia McManus, Superintendent of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, Donald Martin, Chairman Forsyth County Board of Commissioners, and Mayor Allen Joines attended and offered congratulations and to lend their support. Brent Campbell served as the Master of Ceremony.

These seven individuals are now a part of a very select group that have been enshrined into the Winston-Salem Forsyth High School Sports Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame Museum is located inside the Downtown School which is at the corner of 6th Street and Cherry Street.

The following annual awards were presented by the Winston-Salem Sportsmen Club, Inc during the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County High School Sports Hall of Fame Banquet.
