Anthony Hill writes feature stories on North Carolina athletics for Black Sports The Magazine * out of Washington, D.C. Hill also corresponds for ESPN Radio to give insight on Wake Forest athletics, as well as other ACC schools.

Hill is the former sports editor for The Winston-Salem Chronicle, where he won several regional and national journalism awards during his six years with the weekly publication. In 2008, Hill won a First Place (Merit Award) National Newspaper Publishers Association. Some of his other honors included second place North Carolina Press Association Award in 2003 and third place NC Press Association Award in 2004. He also captured NNPA honors in 2004, 2007 and 2008.

Hill also runs a basketball recruiting site for prep girls and college coaches in North Carolina.

Hill came to Winston-Salem on December 20th, 2002, after spending four and a half years working for two daily newspapers in Alabama (The Anniston Star and Gadsden Times.) Hill still corresponds with The Anniston Star.

Hill, a native of Tallahassee, Fla., is a 2000 graduate of the University of Alabama, where he also lettered in football. Hill is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
